Happy Holidays
I love this artwork by Cristiano Siqueira. I found all sorts of amazing digital artworks and photo manipulations through StumbleUpon. It’s fun browsing unfamiliar sites from time to time.
Speaking of websites. My father discovered YouTube this week and now he’s obsessively looking for obscure music. He’s always been anti-technology, so it’s kind of fun watching him get into the internet. When I heard he was on the prowl for some independent music from Santa Cruz, I sent him to emusic.com and cdbaby.com – hope those were good ones to recommend. If there are others (or better ones), please let me know!
I’m super excited about the fact that Kasha Shakti and our mutual friend – the Monkey King – are joining Maurice and I for Christmas Eve for a night of friendly holiday fun. It’s nice having friends over, especially around Christmas. I’m so grateful to know the special people who have entered my life on a personal level. They’ve really been there for me. Even when I was at the hospital, they were there for me. *big hugs to friends*
I’ve been collecting some handmade hemp books from Nepal called the Helambu Notebook and filling them with handwritten collections about my favorite essential oils like lavender, yling ylang, lemongrass, and patchouli. Downstairs I have a spa area with all my massage stuff and hundreds of oils – so I’m doing my best to write as much detailed information about each individual oil in these little hemp books. It’s an ongoing process – and I estimate I’ll be doing it for the next 30 years as my personal hobby. It’s therapeutic and enjoyable… I’m ALWAYS doing something with oils. I’ve even been making my own oatmeal facial masks for my face and making my own bubble bath oils and stuff. If you all are interested, I’ll share some of my personal beauty recipes. I figure women and transgenders might get some enjoyment out of it.
